Assalaamu’Alaikum wa Rahmatullaahi wa Barakatuhu.

It’s been brought to our attention that there are a few issues regarding marriage and women that need to be addressed. The Islam in Action website would like to produce a series of articles discussing the issues that were raised recently. In order to do so, we would like to have the participation of women who are facing cultural issues which clash with their Islamic understanding. Any woman in the Salt Lake City area who would be willing to answer a few of our questions so that we can we establish root causes and effects is invited to contact a responsible, qualified sister who will maintain confidentiality and hopes to deal with compassion for all involved: sisters, as well as parents.
