Q: I am concern due to severe medical condition unable to fast this year and last year 2014 ramadam  I missed 10 days of fasting total amount I need to recover this year including 30 days missed unable to keep this year 2015 total is 40 missed fasting included last year’s missed 10 fasting with 30 missed fasting which I may not keep attend to.keep them  in  winter if recover illness long term on medication please advice help me total amount I need to feed the fasting give fidya thank you I look forward hearing from you soon

The fidya amount would be $7 for each fast missed. (40 fasts x $7 = $280)

When you recover, kindly make up the missed fast.
