Q: my husband is muslim but i am not when we married he was not muslim and have become over the last few yrs. He’s been in jail for the last 6yrs and during the time hes been in there, I cheated and had a baby. Is he supposeto divorce me in his religion

A: A woman having a baby from another man while she is married to her husband does not negate the marriage.

We agree that a sin was committed, however, that nikah remains intact.
