Q: Hi my name is Blanka and in my acting class my professor said that in many societies around the world kids have to ask their parents  to have children of their own. Have you ever heard of such a thing in Islam or any other religion or community? Thanks.

• Did not hear of this in Islam.
• Muslim men and woman get married under the idea that they are mature enough to make adult like decisions.
• Parents cannot impose such requests — be it in favor of or denying children the right to have children.
