Q: Assalamwalakum! There are several Somali muslims that work at our plant. The manager has provided a room, towels, etc. and a special cleansing area for all muslims to preform Wadu and pray upstairs. Friday prayer is a challenge however. I am wondering, is it permissible to establish Friday prayer at the plant with one of the muslim brothers acting as the imam and leading the Friday praryer there, since it is very difficult to attend Friday prayer at the local mosque. (The plant is far away from the mosque. There are about 10 muslims that work at the plant.

A: Walaikumsalam,
Yes, one on the brothers can sure act as an imaam.
If your plant is in a city, the requirement of Jummah Salah can be fulfilled at the place of employment. If your plant is in a remote area that lacks conditions that make Friday prayers necessary, then there would be no need for such a prayer. For them to pray Zohr (mid day prayer) would be sufficient.
Allah Certainly Knows Best.
