A: Your seem a little ignorant. And ignorance if fine if you were polite about the question/matter and sort clarification in a nicer manner.

If one is memorizing the Quraan, reading Quraan to a teacher or reading it for mere spiritual benefit, it would not be necessary to halt ones recital for the Azaan. If one chooses pause the reading for the Azaan, it would be also acceptable.
