Q: Assalamalaikum Imam and jazakallah for taking out time to answer my question. What is the Islamic point of view on keeping pictures of oneself in the house. I heard that angels do not enter houses with pictures present in them.

To display animate pictures (humans, animals) is impermissible.
If you feel that you must keep a picture of yourself, you should limit it to a passport size photo and not make a public display of it.
