just wait a little longer — aviod regret

Q: Salam. i want to know that if I plan to marry a guy whom I like without taking my parents consent, is it permissible or allowed?
Actually, he is still a student and this fact can delay our marriage, so we decided to do a bit earlier….His mother will also be present in the Nikkah. We will inshallah let my parents know within 3-4 months and start living together officially. We are just waiting for my man to be graduated and in the mean time not let our relation be impure without marriage. Is there something wrong in what we are doing?

Answer: ?????? ?????? ????? ???? ???????

I appreciate you wanting to do the right thing. It is not easy to be away from a loved one. Doing the correct thing allows for the Shower of Allah’s Mercy to come upon you both. Do not be in privacy with him at anytime while you are not married to him. Shaytan would entice you both to do things  that would cause for you both to live in regret. Do not let this ever happen to either of you. Help the other is making good choices.

You both are close to being married; thank Allah (SWT) for this opportunity. A little bit more of a wait would produce profound benefit. Give to each other your commitment, and be true to it. Allah (SWT) loves honesty. No good deeds goes in vain as it relates to Allah (SWT). Allah (SWT) would give you the fruit of your waiting, more-so while staying away from any type of inappropriate (unwanted haram) behaviors.

Try to fast as much as possible, read more Quran and be punctual with your salah, beg Allah (SWT) for His Mercy during the Fajr salah.

Allah Certainly Knows Best.
