Q: Asalam Alaykum, I have a question regarding Zawal time. For example I live in Naperville, IL-60564 and Zuhar Azhan time is 12:06 PM on Jan 26, 2011. What is Zawal time on the particular date as an example. Rest I will calculate for other days based upon one particular day. Please let me know. Allah Hafiz.

From a local students that states: Zawal is when the sun reaches its zenith(midway point). The period of Zawal lasts until the sun commences its decline towards the west. There is no standard period for Zawal. It differs from place to place depending on the geographical location.
