I need a letter for my school. I don’t want to over xplain why I want off for eid. Can you please give me a sample letter. We come to Sunday school.

Dear Mr/Mrs. Teacher

I will not be attending class on Monday September 12, 2016  due to a worship as well as celebration called the Eid. It is a day in which Muslims continue with the remembrance and observation of the great sacrifice made by Prophet Abraham and his family made for humanity.

This is a very important day for me and my religion and I hope you understand my absence and why it is important for me to take this day away from school for religious observance.
