Q: my husband is muslim but i am not when we married he was not muslim and have become over the last few yrs. He’s been in jail for the last 6yrs and during the time hes been in there, I cheated and had a baby. Is he supposeto divorce me in his religion

A: If he chooses to accept you despite your cheating, and at the same time if you are a Jew or Christian you both can remain married. A divorce would not be necessary.

If either of you feel that the relationship would not be able to heal as a consequence of infidelity, it would be best for both of you to move one
