Q: i am writing this question for my mother. Dear Imaam My husband of 37 years married an 18 year old girl. i was upset. we got into a huge fight. he pronounced three talaqs and made it clear that the talaqs were irrevocable and the marriage is totally over. we did not talk for a year. The 18 year used him for about 2 million dollars and asked him for a divorce. Her real reason for her divorce was to get her cousin down from xxxx (country name omitted) to fullfil a family promise and keep her family unity. Now my ex tells ys we not divorced because it was not under an islamic court. Am i divorced?
