Q: i am a university student. i love a girl. i know that is haram. so i want to marry her. both of our parents agree. but my parents want that i complete my graduation first. but i feel bad to continue this illegitimate relationship. i cant even break up with her. it will take about two years to complete my graduation. what should i do now?

A: To love a girl/man in itself is not haram. What we do with this love can make it haram or halal. Since the parents agree, have a simple nikah. Upon graduation, merely take part in a celebration.This would give both of you greater comfort, inshaAllah.

You also mentioned, ‘i cant even break up with her.’ This is not a very positive statement. I would reconsider if she is the one you really want to marry.
